これまでに金沢と京都で展示してきた《Waiting for》を、初めて4Kモニターを使ってフル解像度で展示します。東京では初めての展示になります。
この作品は「レンダリング・ポルノ（Renderporn）」と呼ばれるCGの潮流に影響を受けて制作したものでした。
本展では、レンダリング・ポルノに通じる「揺らぎ」や「ざわめき」の感覚にフォーカスし、作品を再構成しました。

KEN NAKAHASHIでは2022年3月11日（金）より4月10日（日）まで、原田裕規による個展「Waiting for」を開催いたします。
これまでに金沢21世紀美術館と京都芸術センターで展示されたCGアニメーション作品《Waiting for》（2021年）を、ギャラリーの空間に合わせ、4Kモニターを用いて初めてフル解像度で展示します。
この作品に映し出されるのは、いつまでたっても何も起きることのない架空の風景です。「レンダリング・ポルノ（Renderporn）」と呼ばれるCG表現の潮流に影響を受けた原田は、そこに「ゆっくり動いているような揺らぎ」を見て取りました。
一方で、近年の世界に対して「何か大きな出来事が起こる前のざわめき」を感じていた作家は、レンダリング・ポルノの「揺らぎ」に、そうした「ざわめき」との類似を見出し、33時間19分にわたって何かの予感を伝え続ける《Waiting for》を制作しました。
世界全体が大きな変化のただ中にある今、本作に向き合うことで、その「ざわめき」の声にぜひ耳を傾けてみてください。
KEN NAKAHASHI is pleased to present Waiting for, a solo exhibition by Yuki Harada, to be held from March 11th (Fri) until April 10th (Sun), 2022.
The CG animation work Waiting for (2021), previously exhibited at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and Kyoto Art Center, will be exhibited in full resolution for the first time with the 4K monitors at the gallery space.
In this work, an imaginary landscape is projected in which nothing happens for any length of time. Harada, who was influenced by the trend of CG expression known as “Renderporn,” saw in this work “a shimmering motion that seems to move slowly.”
On the other hand, the artist, who felt the “agitation before something big happens” in the world in recent years, found similarities with such “agitation” in the “fluctuation” of renderporn, and created Waiting for, which continues to convey a premonition of something over 33 hours and 19 minutes.
As the whole world is in the midst of great change, we hope that you will listen to these murmuring voices by confronting the work.
